I'm a Finnish American award winning innovation leader who thinks that governments have an unrecognized role in creating new innovations, new industries even.
I built my technology career in the private sector, including executive positions at Nokia in Helsinki, London, and Palo Alto, and as Founder and CEO of two successful startups in New York City and New Orleans, LA.
Currently I am an advisor with the World Bank on development and application of deep technologies. I am also the Head of Government and Consortium Relations at the Quantum Strategy Institute, an international think tank promoting end user adoption of quantum technologies.
I hold an MBA from Helsinki University of Technology, and received Executive Education from Stanford University on Innovation Management, and Harvard Business School on Strategic Finance. I live and work in Washington DC, and like to spend time in Southern France.
